This story grabed me from the first line - I couldn't put it down.  I shed tears over the severe abuse this boy suffered and marvel in the way he dified all odds and became the successful person he did.  Bravo to you Brian - a powerful writer.  I can't wait to read "Losing Innocence" and "The Bastard's Plaything."
