Born and raised in Iowa and for the last twenty years he has resided in the Chicago suburbs. He currently lives in Chicago, Illinois and is a graduate of Hamilton College.

Mr. Smith stays busy as an engineer and writing. During the summer you will often find him taking long weekends and going for a Harley ride.
